RVK Mobilya Dekorasyon manufactures luxury custom kitchens in Turkey (lacquer, natural veneer, classic, shaker, handleless) for apartments and country houses in Almaty and Astana, and ships them together with a marble or quartz worktop in one consignment. Production follows your architect's or designer's drawings. Furniture ships numbered, on pallets and in crates; installation is carried out by your fitter or kitchen studio using our guide and video. Production management and quality control are carried out in Istanbul, Türkiye.

Why a kitchen from Turkey

Turkey is among the G20 countries with a clear competitive advantage in furniture (Üçüncü and Bayram, 2026). In a study of buyers of customised furniture, price explained about half of the decision and delivery time about one fifth (Lihra, Buehlmann and Graf, 2012); that is why our quotation shows price, lead time and, on request, freight on one page. For Kazakhstan two more arguments apply: a shared working language, and the chance to get the kitchen and the stone worktop from one supplier, with every slab approved by photo.

Materials and build

• Fronts: lacquered MDF (matt, satin, gloss, any RAL or NCS colour), grain-matched walnut or oak veneer, classic profiled, shaker, handleless with gola profile
• Carcass: 18 mm melamine-faced chipboard or MDF, moisture-resistant board under the sink; E1 class boards, stated in the quotation
• Hardware: Blum or Samet soft-close (2-year warranty)
• Worktop: marble, quartz, porcelain; Calacatta and White Dolomite in the same shipment. More: marble for kitchen islands
• In the same order: dressing rooms, interior doors, wall panelling, libraries

Kazakhstan's climate: dry air and heating

The USDA Forest Products Laboratory recommends installing woodwork at about 8% moisture content in most regions and about 6% in dry conditions (Bergman, 2021). Astana's sharply continental climate and Almaty's long heating season make apartment air very dry, which is exactly the second case. We prepare veneer and solid wood accordingly and advise a humidifier in the heating season, so fronts and panels do not crack or warp. Wood-based panels are among the main sources of indoor formaldehyde (Salthammer, Mentese and Marutzky, 2010), so in apartments sealed through the winter the board class matters and is stated in writing.

Importing into Kazakhstan: VAT, duty, documents

• Import VAT: under the new Tax Code, the standard VAT rate in Kazakhstan is 16% from 1 January 2026.
• Duty: at the EAEU rate for the tariff code; your customs broker makes the exact calculation.
• TR CU 025/2012: furniture (code 9403) requires a declaration of conformity with the technical regulation "On the safety of furniture products" at customs. It is issued by the importer or an applicant in the EAEU; we provide the material description and board data.
• Documents from us: commercial invoice, packing list per case, certificate of origin, photos of packing and loading.
• Routes: by road through Georgia, Azerbaijan and across the Caspian (Middle Corridor, port of Aktau), or by road through Russia; route, timing and cost are calculated per order.
• Payment: 40% with the order, 60% before shipment, by bank transfer in USD or EUR. We do not use letters of credit.

Indicative 2026 prices (EXW Istanbul)

For scale: a complete kitchen is usually 12-25 m² of door face. Worktop, sink, appliances, lighting and freight are separate lines. Only a dated proforma invoice is binding.

Lead times and process

1. Drawings. We work from your architect's or designer's project; we do not prepare drawings.
2. Quotation within 1-2 working days, valid for 10 days.
3. 40% deposit and dimension approval; lacquered or veneered production takes about 45 working days, melamine is faster.
4. 60% balance before shipment, with photos of packing and loading.
5. Installation by your fitter or studio using the numbering, guide and video; the worktop is templated and cut by your stone fabricator, or cut to size by us in Turkey.

Warranty: 24 months against manufacturing defects. Concealed transport damage is reported in writing with photos within 7 days of delivery.

Full container loading: furniture numbered by room and module.
