Choosing slabs for a marble countertop

Calacatta Gold is a marble known for grey and gold veining on a white background. For countertop use:

  • Slabs are selected together for matching veins; book-matching requires sequential slabs.
  • Thickness (2 cm / 3 cm) and finish (polished / honed) should be settled before ordering.
  • Marble is sensitive to acids; applying a sealer to the countertop is recommended.
