Share

Hotel lobby: bespoke timber wall panelling and fitted furniture. An RVK Mobilya Dekorasyon project.
Short answer. RVK Mobilya Dekorasyon manufactures kitchen cabinets, wardrobes and walk-in closets, hotel room furniture, reception desks, timber wall panelling and interior doors in Turkey for villa, residential and hotel projects in Saudi Arabia, and ships them by container to Jeddah or Dammam. Production follows your architect's or interior designer's dimensioned drawings. Goods ship flat-pack (dowel + minifix connections) or with assembled carcasses, numbered and crated; your local team installs with our guide and video. The Saudi importer opens the SABER registration; we provide the product file. Production management and quality control are carried out in Istanbul, Türkiye.

Who this guide is for
- Villa owners in Riyadh (Al Malqa, Hittin, Al Nakheel, around Diriyah) and Jeddah (Obhur, Al Shati, Al Rawdah)
- Hotel investors, operators and FF&E procurement managers
- Contractors developing residential and hotel projects
- Interior design offices and Saudi importers
Why the Saudi market now
According to Knight Frank's Saudi report, the Kingdom had 171,650 quality hotel rooms as of September 2025, with about 94,500 rooms under construction or in advanced planning and a target of 150 million visitors a year by 2030. Riyadh's room count is expected to rise 19% by 2027. Every new room means a wardrobe, a headboard, bedside tables, a desk and a door. A study of 46 hotels found that guest satisfaction falls as time since the last room renovation grows and that satisfaction moves with revenue (Bloom, 2015); hotel design quality also predicts guest satisfaction and the intention to return (Zemke et al., 2017). Turkey is among the G20 countries with a clear competitive advantage in furniture (Üçüncü and Bayram, 2026).

What we make
- Villas: lacquered and veneered kitchens, walk-in closets and wardrobes, majlis wall panelling and boiserie, TV units, libraries, interior doors, vanity units
- Hotels: standard room package (wardrobe, luggage rack, headboard panel, bedside tables, desk, minibar cabinet), reception desks, lobby and restaurant joinery, corridor doors
- Stone: marble and porcelain worktops, lobby flooring in the same shipment
- For New Classic and Arabic-style furniture see New Classic furniture for the Gulf
The Riyadh and Jeddah climate: heat, humidity and air conditioning
The USDA Forest Products Laboratory recommends installing interior woodwork at about 6% moisture content in dry climates and about 11% in damp, warm coastal areas (Bergman, 2021). Riyadh is dry, Jeddah is humid and coastal; when the same project goes to both cities we prepare veneer and solid wood accordingly. Both cities run air conditioning continuously, so board class matters in closed rooms: wood-based panels are among the main sources of indoor formaldehyde (Salthammer, Mentese and Marutzky, 2010); we use E1 boards and state the board in the quotation. Moisture-resistant board around bathrooms and minibars is standard.
SABER, customs and documents
- SABER: the conformity platform of the Saudi Standards organisation (SASO). The Saudi importer opens the account with its Commercial Registration number. A Product Certificate of Conformity (PCoC, valid one year) is obtained for the product and a Shipment Certificate of Conformity (SCoC) for each shipment; for non-regulated product groups a self-declaration (sDoC) may suffice. Your importer or conformity body confirms in SABER what your furniture needs; we supply the technical file with material list, board certificates and product photos.
- VAT: 15% at import on the CIF value plus customs duty.
- Customs duty: by tariff code; your customs broker makes the calculation.
- Documents from us: commercial invoice, packing list per crate, Turkish certificate of origin, ISPM 15 marked packaging, loading photos.
- Route: by container from Istanbul or Mersin to Jeddah (Red Sea) or Dammam (Gulf); freight quoted on request. We have shipped crated consignments to the Gulf (Bahrain) before.

Full container loading: every part labelled by room and module number.
