White lacquered classic doors, wood countertop, black island. An RVK Mobilya Dekorasyon project.
Short answer. RVK Mobilya Dekorasyon manufactures luxury custom kitchen cabinets, walk-in closets, interior doors and wall paneling in Turkey for US architects, custom home builders, interior designers, kitchen showrooms and stone fabricators, and supplies polished marble and onyx slabs in the same container. Everything is built to your drawings, in inches; lacquer, natural veneer, shaker or inset doors; Blum or Samet soft-close hardware. Pricing EXW Istanbul: luxury lacquered or veneered cabinetry from about 46 USD per sq ft of door face (about 500 USD per m²), marble slabs about 18-60 USD per sq ft (195-650 USD per m²). Lead time about 45 working days; ocean freight to East Coast ports 3-5 weeks. US import duties: kitchen cabinets carry a 25% Section 232 tariff, marble carries the MFN rate plus 12.5% under Section 301; the same cabinets and stone imported from Italy pay the same tariffs, and Turkey is significantly cheaper at factory price. Production management and quality control are carried out in Istanbul, Türkiye.

- Interior designers and design-build studios that want European-quality custom cabinetry at a better price point
- Kitchen showrooms and custom cabinetry companies currently importing from Italy or Germany
- Slab yards and stone fabricators looking for Calacatta-type white, beige, onyx and bookmatched slabs
- Turkish and Middle Eastern families in the US who want to furnish their home from Turkey
The market: US luxury housing keeps growing
According to Coldwell Banker's 2026 mid-year luxury report, US luxury single-family home sales rose 2.8% year over year; the top 10% of the market across 120 metros added 3.7 billion USD in sales volume, with nearly 60% of that growth coming from the top 1-5%. Searches for US luxury real estate by international buyers doubled in the first five months of 2026, led by California, New York and Florida. In these homes the kitchen is the most expensive room in the project, and the client wants cabinetry built to the architect's drawings, not picked from a catalog.
Research on custom furniture shows that customers value and will pay for personalized dimensions, materials and finishes (Lihra, Buehlmann and Graf, 2012). A study of the US household furniture industry found that domestic makers' opportunity lies in speed and customization, while standard product has shifted to imports (Buehlmann and Schuler, 2009). Turkey is among the G20 countries with a clear competitive advantage in furniture (Üçüncü and Bayram, 2026) and the world's third largest natural stone exporter, with 2.1 billion USD of exports in 2025 (Turkish Ministry of Trade).

Built for American kitchens
- Inches: your drawings come in inches, we build in inches; standard 34.5" base cabinet height, 24" depth, 36" counter height, or your own dimensions.
- Frameless (European) or inset: handleless frameless, shaker full-overlay, or inset doors in a face frame; we build all three.
- Finishes: lacquer (matte, satin, high gloss), natural veneer (walnut, white oak, fumed oak), solid wood frame doors, PVC foil and melamine.
- Hardware: Blum or Samet soft-close hinges and drawer slides with a 2-year warranty; cabinets sized for US appliances (36" and 48" ranges, panel-ready refrigerators, 30" wall ovens).
- Panels: E1; for the US, TSCA Title VI (CARB Phase 2) compliant panels on request with the panel manufacturer's certificate. Wood-based panels are among the main sources of indoor formaldehyde, which is why panel grade is the first question to ask any manufacturer (Salthammer, Mentese and Marutzky, 2010).
Marble slabs: what American buyers ask for
In the US, 3cm slabs are the standard for countertops; 2cm is used with a laminated edge. The most requested: Calacatta-type white, white dolomite, Bella Cream-type beige, Deep River Grey-type gray, King Perla-type dark brown, backlit silver onyx, and bookmatched pairs for islands and feature walls. Every slab is approved from a numbered photo and selected by live video. A study of Western Anatolian marbles shows that porosity and water absorption are the values that decide a stone's durability (Yavuz and Topal, 2007); accredited lab test reports are available for some of our stones. More: marble island and countertop guide, bookmatched marble guide.

US tariffs and import requirements (October 2026)
| Product | Duty | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities | Section 232: 25% | Since October 2025, all origins; increase to 50% deferred to January 1, 2027. Section 301 does not apply to goods covered by Section 232 |
| Marble slabs, closets, interior doors, wall paneling | MFN rate + Section 301: 12.5% | Section 301 applies to 60 economies including Turkey from July 24, 2026; MFN on marble about 2.5-4.9% depending on HTS code |
- IEEPA reciprocal tariffs were struck down by the Supreme Court in February 2026; the temporary Section 122 surcharge expired July 24, 2026. Your customs broker confirms the exact rate by HTS code on the day of entry.
- TSCA Title VI: composite wood products entering the US (furniture containing MDF, particleboard or plywood) must meet the formaldehyde limits and be labeled; the panel manufacturer's certificate is included with the shipping documents.
- Lacey Act: wood furniture and doors require a plant declaration (species and country of harvest); we provide the data, your importer or customs broker files it.
- ISF (10+2): filed on the importer's behalf 24 hours before loading; a customs broker and a customs bond are required. If you do not have a broker, we can suggest one working at your port.
- Documents: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, bill of lading, ISPM 15 packaging.
Containers, ports and lead times
- Production about 45 working days for lacquer and veneer; marble from stock in 1-2 weeks.
- Ocean freight from Istanbul: 3-5 weeks to New York/New Jersey and Savannah, 4-6 weeks to Miami and Houston, 5-7 weeks to Los Angeles/Long Beach.
- A 20ft container holds a complete villa kitchen with closets and doors, or about 3,200-3,750 sq ft (300-350 m²) of 2cm slabs; a 40ft HC holds two or three kitchens, or kitchen plus marble together.
- No minimum for a single kitchen; for ocean freight it makes sense to combine cabinetry, closets and marble in one container.
- Every cabinet is labeled by room and number with corner protection; marble on A-frames or in wooden crates. Loading photos on the day of shipment. Concealed transit damage is reported in writing with photos within 7 days of delivery, and the part is remade.

Full container loading: numbered cabinets, corner protection, ISPM 15 pallets.
