Short answer. RVK Mobilya Dekorasyon manufactures kitchen cabinets, wardrobes and walk-in closets, interior doors, TV units, bathroom vanities and fitted furniture to measure in Turkey for homes, villas, housing projects and hotels in North Cyprus, and ships them to the island. Production follows your or your architect's dimensioned drawings. Furniture ships flat-pack (dowel + minifix connections) or with assembled carcasses, numbered and palletised. Installation is not included in the price; on request it is quoted as a separate line. Production management and quality control are carried out in Istanbul, Türkiye.

Furniture from Turkey to North Cyprus: step by step
- Drawings and lists. Dimensioned plan, wall elevations, material and colour preference. Production follows these drawings; we do not offer a drawing service. See custom furniture from your own drawings.
- Itemised quotation. Ready in 1-2 working days, valid for 10 days. Freight is quoted on request as a separate line.
- Approval and 40% deposit. Dimensions and colours are confirmed in writing.
- Production. About 45 working days for lacquered and veneered items; shorter for melamine flat-pack. Production stages are shared by photo and video.
- 60% balance. Paid by bank transfer before shipment.
- Packing and loading. Every pack is labelled by room and module number, on ISPM 15 stamped pallets or crates; loading is photographed.
- Sea freight. From Turkey's southern ports (Mersin, Taşucu) to Famagusta or Kyrenia.
- North Cyprus customs. Clearance is handled by the buyer's customs broker; duties and fund charges are paid by the buyer.
- Delivery and assembly. Your own team installs with the assembly guide and installation video, or installation is added at a separate price on request.

What happens to furniture in transit?
Measurements taken on intermodal container shipments by truck, rail and ship recorded large temperature swings inside closed containers and the highest vibration levels on the road legs (Singh et al., 2012). The road leg from the factory to the port and the climate inside the container are therefore the real test of packaging.
The USDA Forest Products Laboratory recommends installing interior woodwork at about 8% moisture content in most regions and about 11% in damp, warm coastal areas (Bergman, 2021). On the Cyprus coast, especially in holiday homes without air conditioning, we recommend letting the furniture acclimatise indoors for a few days before unpacking.
Packing and damage claims
- Lacquered and veneered fronts are individually wrapped in foam, with corner protectors and cartons.
- ISPM 15 stamped pallets and crates; photos of the stamps and the loading are sent to you.
- Visible damage is noted on the delivery note and photographed before signing.
- Concealed transport damage is reported in writing with photos within 7 days of delivery.
- We recommend all-risks cargo insurance for every shipment.

Installation is not included in the price; on request, installation on the island is quoted as a separate line. If your own team installs, the numbered packs, assembly guide and installation video are sufficient. Before installation, check that walls and floors are level and that water and power points are ready; in kitchens, worktop dimensions are confirmed after the cabinets are in place.

Port and sea transit time is added to the production time; the estimated date is written in the quotation. Time starts after the deposit and dimension approval.

What are the payment terms?
40% with the order, 60% before shipment, by bank transfer. We do not work with letters of credit.
